For ten years I published a monthly twelve page print newsletter called Disappearing Monthly. (It was actually supposed to be called the Trap Door, but then I discovered that name was already being used by Steve Beam!) It was a real newsletter…news, commentary, articles, and interviews.....not just ads. When I sent out the first issue in 1993, it was the best and most timely way for us to stay in touch with our customers. But the internet changed that and as the world got faster, the print newsletter became more dated.

By the time I stopped publishing it back in December of 2003 our web site started to contain many of the features that the newsletter held. One of the most popular was a series of interviews conducted by my good friend, Joseph Malkiewicz. Over the years I have posted many of those interviews to our site.

Recently, Joe decided to come out of retirement and conduct another interview with Paul Gertner. It’s a great discussion and, with no printed page to worry about, it’s a bit meatier than some of the previous ones. I really enjoyed it!
